Today we learnt to subtract decimals.

23.15 -2.4=20.75
23.15-5= 21.15
21.15-0.15=21
21-0.25=20.75

Forces

Last week the ovals made a balloon powered rocket. The force of the blown up balloon made strong air that launched the rocket balloon to the end of the string.

One of our challenges was to see if the balloon is better going up but it only went half way.We learnt  that the balloon goes down better than up (eg it's like going up hill it's harder than going down) .

Fireworks exploding in the sky
In the giant sky
Rocket exploding sounding like rockets 
Eating the sky like bugs

Rockets exploding in the dark, dark sky
KA BOOM!

Green words are adjectives.

Dark blue are looks and sounds.

Light blue words are similes.

Blue words are the first letter of each word.

The baking soda in water makes bubbles that float in to  the oil and stay. After a while the bubbles go back to the water.
