Term Three highlights

In term three some of my highlights were the Vardon commonwealth games, I was one of the athletes competing in discus, We also had (on the last day of school) a party with a shared lunch and the movie "holes". 

Soccer

On Friday in week two Room 15 went to the back of the field to play soccer. Room 15 played a game called shark. You needed to keep the ball away from the shark if we got tugged were out and there were safe islands were your safe for five seconds.

Room 15 are learning tennis every Wednesday. so far we have learnt volley, forehand and backhand.

Volley is when you go up to the net and tap the ball without the ball hitting the ground.

Most of the people voted for fruits/veges. The least amount of people voted on other.We also put it in to a pie chart. J

I just finished my last race then suddenly I heard “Breaststroke lengths 

races” I raced down the stairs then I knew that I could make it. The teachers started talking “first is the 8 year old races, boys and girls” . I watched. It looked hard. Then my heart started beating hard. The teacher said “nine year old boys”. The teacher told me my lane. My lane was lane two. The clapper went. I dived. I swam as fast as possible... I was at the end. I came 3^rd with a card for proof. I gave the teachers my card and got house points!

This is me and my group getting ready for gliding.
I enjoyed swimming with kelly sports because I used to only be able to swim freestyle and now I can swim freestyle,backstroke,survival backstroke and breaststroke!
