The happy chocolate monster

I went to the kitchen “Aahh I’m so hungry Mum” “Here have some chocolate then”...Then the chocolate ran away come I said ‘Come back chocolate’ but too late...

The next day we went to the BIG chocolate factory. I bought the same chocolate. Then I went home. When I opened the pack the chocolate was there it was the same chocolate as before Then it said...’DO NOT EAT ME PLEASE’

Then I... no I will not eat you the chocolate was so, so happy. Then he ran away saying ‘good bye’

Then I said ‘good bye’.

Dairy farm visit

Yesterday the middle syndicate went to Miss Workman's dairy farm.
First we went in Megan's dads car with...Katherine, Megan, Jade and me.
Next we were there we went to the picnic we put down are picnic blanket.We were having morning tea next we hade a farm tour we saw cows and cows peeing.
Then we went in the milking shed we put are finger in the suction cups I got to be so so close to a cow.
Then we went in to the milk tasting shed the milk tasted normal the we went back to the picnic area to have the gumboot trowing Fin and Titus hade a tie so they hade a throw...and Titus won then we hade lunch next we went to the carf room then we went to the hose the hose was hard to hold then we have the final round of the gumboot throwing.Then we went back to school.

Calendar art work

We made some work for the Calendar.
I enjoy making the birds.
I found difficult making the birds.It was hard puting the eyes on.

Next time I'll try harder making birds.

Explanation writing

How milk gets from the cow to the supermarket

The cow begins her life as a calf.The calf  feeds her mothers milk until shes two they spend 8 hours chewing grass.They need to eat 40 ponds off grass. Milk travels through the farm pipes then the tanker comes to collect it and it gose to the factory.Then the milk gets tested then processed and pasteurised then stored in bottles then in crates and sent to the supermarket.

The Holidays

On the Holidays I went to Madagascar 3.
It was so funny I did not like it at the end because Alex lied about being a circus animal.
The bad part was... the Alex got caught in a cage.

The awesome part was... a animal jumped thou a ring on fire.

a huge green rocket. I got out my space gear and I got in the rocket. Then 5 4 3 2 1... Blastoff! The rocket flamed off the ground. The rocket was in the air. Then we were in the space. I jumped off the rocket and I was floating. I saw the moon and floated to the moon. I put a flag on the moon. Next I floated back to my rocket. Then the rocket was there but it had... no food so when the rocket went down to the ground I had lots of food.

The yellow star Moon

Today we watched a video clip For writing and this is my writing.

One night  Grandad took me fishing.Then he felt a pull then he pulled the moon then  Grandad told me to hook the yellow moon when I  hooked the moon and yellow stars came out then Grandad told me to came back.I came back with a star then we went home to sell the star then Grandad said it is Xmas they put the star on top of the Xmas tree and they did it every Xmas.

How chocolate is made

First a white flower grows on a cacao tree. The Midge pollinates the white flower. It needs to grow for 6 Months then it grows into a fruitpod.A fruitpod needs to be cut by hand  Cacao beans are inside. the fruitpod is cut into half to get the Cacao beans out. Put the Cacao beans in a box to ferment.Put the fermented Cacao beans in a bigger box to Dry. Then the beans are ground into Cocoa powder. Then it gets melted into chocolate. Then the chocolate gets poured in moulds. Then the moulds go into the fridge to set.

Decimals

I have been learning about decimals. I enjoy decimals because they are hard.
Something I found interesting was that decimals can have 2 or more numbers[eg : 8.99 and 1.5]
and I also learnt that you can add decimals too [eg:1.9+5.1=7.0]

Floating frogs

At 8PM   Aaron Yang the detective deserved a lilypad falling from the dark sky the lilypad was wet it means it came from some were with water but were?
It can come from the river or waterfall.
We saw some green slim on the ground the green slim was soth it looked like it was bitten we researched it at are lab ... when we researched the lilypad the lilypad was from a frogs normally frogs come from a pond we when to the pond the frogs was sleeping  were was waking back the frogs was floating then they went back down we thought the frogs were floating because of the gravity.

How we hear sound

The ear works by electrical pulses.

Sound moves by the air. If there was no air, it would not make any sound.

The sound goes into eardrum to your ossicles then cochlea then into the brain.

I maded a poster about waitomo caves. I had what you should do and what you should not do. I did well with my colouring and my message. Next time I will not leave that much white sace and fill my gaps.

I made a crystal flower I used lots of effort and then 2 days later I felt the crystal flower and it was hard. I predict the salt will make crystals on the flower.
